The Meaning of Employee’s Performance

The meaning of performance is a working result that generated by employee to achieve the expected goals. Performance is a working result in quality and quantity that is achieved by employees for performing their duties according to their responsibility.
Furthermore, researchers also will bring about the definition of employee’s performance. Performance is a record that derives from a certain job functions or activities during certain period of time. While other experts say that performance is actual behavior that is displayed by every person as a working achievement that is produced by the employee according to his role in a company.
Based on the description above, it reveals that performance level can be evaluated through employee’s achievement results, and then the employee’s performance must be determined by the target achievements during certain period of time.
Quantity is the amount that must be completed or achieved. Quantitative measurement involves the output calculation from the process or implementation activities. This relates to the number of produced outputs. Quality is a grade that must be produced (good or bad).
Qualitative output measurement reflects the measurement of “satisfaction level“, which how good the solution is. It deals with the output form. Timeline is the suitability of the planned time. Timeline measurement is a special type of quantitative measurement that determines the timeline of an activity completion.
